Favourite TV show is Sanford and Son.

Favourite movies are Slapshot, Caddyshack, The Godfather and Return To Me.

When I need a laugh I listen to Russell Peters or Craig Shoemaker.

We were taught to study all wrong!

Find a quiet room and get rid of all distractions.  What a load of hooey.  Kids do better if they can study in the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, library - allows the brain to retain and process information regardless of the location.  Like a classroom.
