S.O.S.

The music of Boston-based hardcore band S.o.s. discloses a raw, bare-bones aesthetic that harks back to the style's early-'80s heyday, when sonic refinements meant little as compared to the songs themselves. Led by guitarist and producer Eric Lomon, the band quickly followed upon their 2003 demo tape with a submission for the Sweet Vision hardcore comp, and, in 2004, gained the release of their self-titled EP through Perfect Victim Records. ~ Ed Rivadavia, All Music Guide
