Incan medicine man Wachan Bajiyoperak offers five traditional Incan and five original songs, which he plays on variety of flutes, drums, and rattles. New age composer Gerald Jay Markoe recorded nature sounds -- birds and surf -- and acted as producer. The songs are melodic, relaxing, and somewhat sad. "Senq'a Senq'ana" features the high-pitched nose flute and a gentle clicking percussion that reminded me of the rhythm of a woodpecker.
