Getting Back

Hello again!  Seems like a long time since I've been mindlessly typing to you, but it's only been a little over a week.  Holiday's have come and gone again for me and I'm happy to say I got a few good days of sun to release my ghostly self to the beach. 

Back to BIG KID school

Lets face it, September will be here before we know it.  And graduates are excited to maybe move out of the house and start college or university. 

Parents probably don't want to hear this but the students will get a laugh out of it.

Wednesday The 13th?

I try not to think about things, but my mind gets the best of me sometimes.  I got to thinking yesterday that this Friday is the 13th.  Great.  What will happen this time?  Well I think I got my fill today. 

I would ALMOST call this a heat wave

Take care everyone with the weather being hot and the air so thick you sometimes find yourself trying to push yourself though the air it's so thick.  There are some ways you can protect your health in this weather with high humidexs 

 

• drinking plenty of non-alcoholic liquids, preferably water, before feeling thirsty;
• staying inside during the hottest part of the day;
• wearing a wide-brimmed hat or using an umbrella, wearing loose-fitting, light-coloured clothing and using sunscreen, if you are outdoors;
• going to a cool place such as a mall, restaurant or movie theatre for a break from the heat, if there is no air conditioning at home;
• taking a cool bath, shower or swim; and
• limiting physical activities during the hotter parts of the day.

I'm heading to the beach!  Enjoy the heat if you're like me and like it.  (Love is pushing it)
