For nearly three years now, Astral has proudly been supporting and sponsoring Martine Dugrenier, a world champion olympic wrestler from Québec that has officially qualified a month ago to represent Canada in the 2012 London Summer Olympics.  Most observers agree that Martine represents one of our country’s most promising chances of a gold medal.  Martine is already a highly celebrated and accomplished athlete. She is a three-time world champion (2008, 2009 and 2010), and finished in the fifth position at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. She is an eight-time Canadian champion and was selected a few months ago as Québec’s Athlete of the Year (2011). In addition to her impressive track record as an athlete, Martine teaches physical education and is completing a Masters degree at the University of Montréal.
