The lack of a decent consistently available
Laura Branigan retrospective was remedied capably in 2002 with the issue of an
Essentials title devoted to her. Still, as budget-line comps go, Gloria and Other Hits isn't too bad. It's missing a couple of tracks ("Solitaire," for example), but includes
Branigan's biggest hit as well as her earlier version of the
Michael Bolton-penned soft rock classic "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You."
